Beach Wedding Photography Around Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head and Lismore

I had great fun earlier this week doing a wedding photography photoshoot at various Northern NSW locations from Lismore, to the Byron Bay hinterland and down to Lennox Head and Ballina.

The images aren’t from a real wedding but for use as stock photography so the shoot was nice and relaxed as we didn’t need to worry about things like getting the dress dirty. And dirty it was at the end of the shoot. Filthy. Amazing how much sand can collect in a wedding dress.

Before the Wedding, a Lismore Engagement Shoot

Last weekend I had the pleasure of doing an Engagement Shoot for Rechell and Scott in Lismore. We kicked off with an early (and chilly) start and thankfully we did. Just after we finished the photography and jumped back in the cars, the heavens opened and it poured with rain.

These guys are relaxed and fun. Lots of fun. And they are going to have a great wedding.

Getting Married? Time for Some Casual Engagement Photos

I love doing engagement photoshoots and I keep them fun, relaxed and quick. Most people have never really spent much time in front of a camera and it can be daunting. That’s why engagement photos are a great thing to do. There’s no pressure, they can be lots of fun, they don’t have to take hours and you get to see what it’s all about. You also get to experience what your wedding photographer is like to work with and make sure you ‘click’ together (yes, atrocious pun fully intended).

The thing most people don’t realise when it comes to wedding photography, is that the bride normally has no problem. It’s the groom who is nervous and unsure of everything.

With all this in mind I got out and about the other week with Kaila and Danny for some photos. Here’s one:

Huge ANZAC Day in Lismore

Completely off topic from anything I normally post about, but here’s my daughter’s school marching for ANZAC Day in Lismore. The parade was huge and the crowds enormous. Great to see the community spirit and support.

Lismore Wedding Ceremony, Ballina Reception, Beautiful Bride, Outrageous Fun

I’m running a bit (a lot?) behind in my blogging so I thought I should rectify that situation and bring you some images from the last wedding I photographed last year. The fabulous wedding of Laura and Andrew.

On a day of blazing sunshine and great laughs, they had their ceremony at the Catholic Cathedral in Lismore and their reception at the Ballina Beach Resort. Sarah Jane from Lady Bella was responsible for hair and makeup, with transport by Byron Bay Limousines.
