Did a Trash the Dress wedding photography session with Ashley and Amy from last weeks Yamba wedding. Not your typical jump in the ocean Trash the Dress session, this is a location in Lismore I have wanted to use for quite some time. It’s a pine forest smack bang in the middle of Australian suburbia.
There is some video in there too from the new Canon 5D Mark 2.
And a heads up for what is coming. The wedding I photographed on Saturday was another beauty. It was at Byron Bay and Mullumbimby, overcast, late in the day, very low light reception, lots of candids, HUGE party and I pushed the new camera to the limits. The band were friends of the bride and groom. As they rocked out I was thinking, wow, someone should be recording this before realising the 5D Mark 2 could record sound and video. I’ll be putting together a great video from that wedding in the next couple of days.
