I’m just back from shooting one of the most enjoyable weddings ever. The wedding was actually yesterday and rather than being the photographer for a regular Byron Bay, Ballina or Lismore wedding, this wedding was on the Gold Coast. I treated it like a destination wedding and took the family for a few days holiday at Burleigh Heads before the wedding.
The wedding was Alana and Ben’s. They’ve had all kinds of dramas, false starts and venue changes but the wedding turned out to be absolutely superb. Alana looked gorgeous, the wedding was super stylish, the bridal party was laid back and fun – and the guests were simply outrageous with some great moves on the dance floor. I have had a phenomenal year as a wedding photographer for some of the most delightful couples – and it isn’t over yet. Two more weddings to go.
