I’ve been fielding calls and emails from all over with friends and family concerned about how we are going with the floods. Yes, Brisbane is flooded to the north. Grafton is flooded to the south and to the west there is flooding around Kyogle. Here in Lismore, we’ve dodged a bullet.
Minor flooding occurred but both my home and studio are well out of reach of a minor flood. I did get to experience the Brisbane flood first hand though when I had to duck up there on Wednesday and Thursday.
Brisbane was a contrast of normality in one street and then a couple of blocks away, complete disaster. Here’s a video I took of a Brisbane CBD waterfall. The flooded river flowing into a building construction site.
