As a Byron Bay wedding photographer I see a multitude of wedding venues. It’s a shame when a good one closes, but it is even greater when an excellent wedding reception venue re-opens. Particularly when it is even better now than it was before.
Just such a thing has happened in Byron Bay. The venue I am talking about has a colourful past having once been the site of Club Med Byron Bay, then the Byron Bay Beach Club, before becoming the ill fated Becton development – and that earned it many unofficial names. It’s now known as North Byron Events, has undergone landscape beautification and renovations to the restaurant / function room and looks better than ever.
North Byron Events is out of town so it is away from the backpacker crowd plus you can party until late. It’s also still very close to everything so it’s not an hour bus ride into the hills like so many “Byron Bay Hinterland” properties are. It’s right smack bang on the beachfront, and also has a magnificent natural rural setting.
I’m really looking forward to photographing more weddings there. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer for the Byron Bay area, click on my contacts page to send me a message or give me a call. Or check me out on Facebook.
By the way. Byron Bay is the perfect place for a wedding even in the middle of winter. Blue skies, warm sunshine and palm trees. Here’s a photo I took today in the grounds of North Byron Events.
