What does a wedding photographer do during the colder months when there are not many weddings on? Other than catch up on everything on my ‘to do’ list I normally play with a few new techniques and do some personal photography projects.
Today’s weather is a bit dodgy with heavy cloud cover. The diffused light is perfect for rainforest photography so I headed to the Nightcap National Park to try some high dynamic range (HDR) photos at Protestors Falls.
Here’s a couple of my early efforts. Images like the waterfall can be particularly difficult to capture as the top of the falls is in bright sunlight and the bottom can be extremely dark.
