Wedding photographers love a certain type of light. When the sky is completely covered by an even layer cloud the mother of the bride is distraught that it is about to turn to torrential rain – but as a wedding photographer I’m grinning like a loon. The light is beautiful. Creamy even. And that is what I had for Fi and Steve’s wedding at Alstonville.
Fi and Steve had their ceremony at the Alstonville Catholic Church and their reception at the Ramada in Ballina. Their wedding car was a classic Bentley from Elegant Wedding Cars.
Fi and Steve had a few quirky features for their wedding. Bouquets for the bridesmaids were replaced with cool little flower baskets. And they had two wedding cakes. A traditional tiered wedding cake and a croque em bouche (hope I got the spelling correct on that). Great fun and lots of laughs.
