Did I win anything at the 2008 Australian Professional Photography Awards, the APPAs? You bet I did. All four of my images picked up a silver award in the Open Weddings category.
I’m stoked and it is a great win. The judging is normally of extremely high standard and this year they took it up a couple of notches for wedding photography. From all reports it was very tough judging and to get four silver awards was a great achievement.
My abstract image also caused a good deal of controversy and arguement between the judging panel. A reaction I had hoped for. Unfortunately I missed out on seeing it judged.
