What does a wedding photographer do during the week? Answer: I work on albums, take stock photos and work on personal photography projects. Over the last couple of days I’ve been working on a personal project including a wedding photograph that will be used as a stock photography image (Coming soon to iStockphoto).
The image is of a bride riding my classic styled Triumph motorbike through a field of sugar cane just outside of Lismore in Northern NSW. I love this shot but couldn’t do it with a real bride on her wedding day. It’s just too difficult to get all the elements to combine – location, weather, timing and the safety aspect. The chances of getting the dress caught in the bike, setting fire to it or just getting it filthy dirty stops me from suggesting it. But I so wanted to get this shot.
