You’ve got to laugh when a Canadian comments that “It’s a little bit warmer at home” and then tells everyone how it was 1 degree warmer in his Canadian home town the day before compared with Byron Bay. That’s the conversation I walked into when I arrived at Amanda and Mike’s wedding. Of course, Mike’s friend was leaving out the fact that it was the height of the Canadian summer, and Byron Bay was in the dead of winter. The laughs had started and they didn’t stop all day.
Amanda and Mike were married on the beach at Byron and had their reception in the Byron Bay Beach Cafe.
