I knew I was going to have fun at this wedding when I found out the wedding cars they were having. Early 70’s Ford XB Hardtop Coupes. Mad Max cars. The main car is owned by the groom and the fleet was an imposing sight on the streets of Byron Bay. Other wedding cars I saw on the same day included the ubiquitous limos, Cadillacs, Jeeps, even Audis and Volkswagons – but the GT Falcons looked great.
The wedding was in an Alstonville park, with a reception at the Ballina Island Motor Inn.
We did most of the wedding photography in Byron Bay at Wategoes Beach and other wedding photos were at the Byron Bay lighthouse.
