Trash the Dress is a subset of wedding phtotography that involves taking the bride and groom to less than pristine environments for their wedding photos. My Dunk Island dress trashing photo shoot involved full imersion of the bride and groom in the ocean. A couple of images are available for viewing here.
But it doesn have to be so full on.
Quite often my normal wedding photos shoots could be classified as dress trashing sessions even though the dress remains in pristine conditions. The following images are from a Lismore wedding, and the wedding photos were taken on a farm out towards Kyogle. They were taken in an old dairy bails and in a paddock littered with cow poo. All clothing escaped unscathed.
