We’re spoilt in Northern NSW when it comes to wedding locations. You can have a wonderful wedding with great photos on the beach at Byron Bay, Ballina, Kingscliff or Yamba. You could be married in the magnificent churches and Cathedral at Lismore or at Bexhill’s Open Air Cathedral. But I’ve got to admit, I love a Casino wedding.
Casino weddings are always special celebrations. They are all about the couple doing things their way and having a great big, fun party. Trudi and Dave’s Casino wedding was no exception and they even managed to raise the bar. They had 3 semi trailer prime movers among their wedding car convoy of 5 high performance Fords. Double bonus for me as I’ve got diesel in my veins having grown up around trucks, tarps and tended to be covered in diesel dust and grime most of my school holidays.
Yes, Dave’s a truck driver. Every time I suggested a photo that involved his truck he’d get as excited as a 6 year old kid trying to get a passing truckie to blow the air horns.

Trudi and Dave’s ceremony and reception music was all done by top bloke and great musician, Luke Vassella. Their reception was held at The Clydesdale in Casino and decorations were done by Deborah Marks.
